I didn't try it but I would imagine that as long as the numbers correspond to each other on the chart then it would work even if it weren't exactly these numbers. I have done some troubleshooting as below.
ANDROID STUDIO 3.0.1 GRADLE SYNC FAIL ANDROID
Still, while Android Studio runs smoothly most of the time, its users are still experiencing troubling problems on occasions and the Gradle sync project has failed. I encountered 'Gradle project sync failed' on Android Studio 4.2 and some of the class members are mostly red. Matches the 6.5-all in this gradle-wrapper.properties line distributionUrl= Based on Gradle, Android Studio enables app developers to manage built-in build processes and optimize productivity. If you look at the table in the link you will see that the 4.1.0 in this adle file line classpath ':gradle:4.1.0' in the individual module adle filesĪnd in the griddle-wrappers.properties file change distributionUrl= are you using some kind of dependency manager like gradle or maven you should see a pom.xml or adle file.

My changes are annotated // Top-level build file where you can add configuration options common to all sub-Ĭlasspath ':gradle:4.1.0'//change to this The numbers are not the same but they must correspond as per the table in this link: After I got that then I had to go into the adle file and change it to this. Several days of digging and a little luck later, learned about gradle versions and Android Gradle Plug in versions. Kept getting this error when I tried to import a file for a class I'm taking.
